SETAPP Members Learn About New Ways To Reduce Energy Costs
Houston, TX – May 5, 2015 — Yesterday, Bob Wooten, Director of National Accounts, Tradition Energy, presented to attendees of the Southeast Texas Association of Purchasing Professionals (SETAPP) 2015 Lone Star Conference, held at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort in Galveston, Texas. The annual conference provides SETAPP members with a variety of educational opportunities covering legal issues, utility purchasing, sustainable leadership, and much more.
Due to his more than 15 years of government procurement experience, Mr. Wooten has been a regular workshop speaker at the Lone Star Conference. This year, his presentation educated attendees on many of the energy services often not considered by purchasing professionals because of the lack of awareness that these services exist.
“I’ve seen many energy presentations at similar conferences and more often than not they fail to provide sufficient value to attendees,” said Mr. Wooten. “The presentation, ‘6 Ways To Reduce Energy Costs After You Sign An Energy Contract’ resulted in a lot of questions, interaction, and feedback – all indicating that there is a high level of interest in learning how to further reduce energy costs once your rate is negotiated.”
